PTS  intalled this barrier cable system at the new Sound Transit light rail station.  The project used GTI’s Fixed-End Grabb-it’s which is an Adjustable Anchor System.   Both ends were back-seated and then the Grabb-it end was tighten as needed to gain the necessary force required for the cable.  This system is the easiest to acquire the proper stress force.

We use a specially calibrated tension meter to verify that every strand is at the correct tension forces as per project specifications.
